My choice.

In my childhood I used to listen to this music. I was born in a rock'n'roll family. My father teached me all that he know about the rock'n'roll. Let's share this beautiful song.

DEATH OF A CONTESTANT

For the Cambodian authorities, the investigation of the death of a candidate of '' Koh Lanta " is ended . The young candidate having died from '' natural death '' . Gérald Babin , 25 years old , succumbed on Friday to a heart attack in the first day of shooting of the 16th season of the broadcast on the island of Koh Rong off Sihanoukville . 

According to Adventure Line Productions , Gérald Babin was taken by cramps during the first game , which followed the arrival of the participants on the site . He was taken care by the emergency of the broadcast , who lavished him the first care , before deciding to evacuate him towards the hospital where he died. After this event, the first one for a French programm of reality tv , TF1 announced the cancellation of the season 2013 .

Mixture of reality show and adventures , Koh Lanta is one of the biggest audience of TF1 a French channel . The declension of the British broadcast '' Survivor '' adapted in numerous countries . We count around 7,4 millions of televiewers .

A BOOK TO READ

               To Kill a Mockingbird, a novel by Harper Lee published in 1960, in the heart of the fight for civil rights, knew a huge sucess and even gets the Pulitzer Prize in 1961. Written, in the 1930s, Harper Lee wrote this novel about childhood confronted to prejudice, lie, bigotry and evil. It also deals with the issues of racism which were at that very common. The book has become a classic of modern American literature and was sold for more than 30 millions copy all over the world. In 1962, it was adapted into an American drama film directed by Robert Mulligan.   

  Summary 

           In a little town of Alabama, during the three years of the Great Depression, Atticus Finch, a middle-aged widowed father, raises  his two kids alone: Jem and Scout Finch. This Lawyer is appointed by the court to defend a black man : Tom Robinson accused of having raped a white woman. Atticus will fight all his strength to help this man who could risk the death penatly. This story is told through the eyes of the little girl : Scout, shows a world full of a great beauty with savage inequities. 

  The Author

            Nelle Harper lee, also known as Harper Lee, was born on April 1926, in Monroeville, in Alabama, a sleepy small town similar to Maycomb (the setting of her famous novel : To Kill a Mockingbird) Her mother was a housewife and her father was a lawyer but also an ancient director of newspaper. As child, she became close firend to her schoolmate and neighbour : Truman Capote, who became a writer. Harper Lee studies law at the University of Alabama but drop out to devote herself to writting. She writes with compassions and has the ability to touch people with details. In 1999, her book was voted best novel of the century, by the Library Journal. "What makes Harper Lee notable as an American author is because she wrote only one book that became one a great classic of the 20th century." Said by Blake Allmendinger, a professor of Humanities in UCLA. Never Married, she continues to live in Monroeville at the age of eighty-six.

Last week, I did some cupcakes, and I think that it was a good idea to give you my recipe so! we can start!

For the cupcakes you need:

- 180g flour

- 120g sugar

- 1/2 baking powder

- 120ml milk

- 2 eggs

-vanilla extract

- cupcakes tins

1) Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder

2) Add milk, beaten eggs and mix well.

3) Preheat oven to 180°C conventional or 160°C fan-forced.

4) Add the vanilla extract to your mixture.

5) Spoon mixture into the cupcakes tins until each cases is one third full. Bake for 15-20 minutes

for the frosting (chocolate) you need:

- 200g chocolate

- 150g soft butter

- 200g icing sugar

1) cut chocolate in pieces and melt it. Mix well.

2) In a bowl, mix butter and sugar with a mixer (be careful with sugar). The mixture must be creamy. Add chocolate, mix well.

3) Reserve to fresh until the mixture becomes solid enought to be spread without running

    decorate your cupcakes and eat them!!

Almost together 

A long time, we spent together

Through the passion and the desire.

We were bound in chains forever

Until we end, consumed by the fire.

Hours and Hours at the sea

Looking the sun and just dreaming.

Lying on his chest : He stares me,

Sparkle in the eye, he asks : move in.

On this day forth, I was so pleased

That we were move in love each other

He gaves me a really good kiss

And I have to ask for another

From the window, the sun still here

I smile, waiting for you in our home. 

All was set but you weren't there,

Asking with fear why you didn't come.

Goodbye 

Lying on the grass, I crossed your eyes

While a fake smile, on your face, appears.

And, later, when your soft hand almost touch my lips : 

You suddenly left, I was so ripped. 

On my so silent street, you came back

And you stayed next to me in the dark.

But, as I remember in old time that we had.

You were just passing through like your dad. 

Each day, I see you in the mirror 

And I say : Not again this horror.

The nightmare starts again in my head when I see you

And it's hurting me 'cause I miss you 

This time, I'm sure, I'm ready, but still.

Close to your grave, I was on my kness.

My love was there. I looked at him. I said Goodbye.

He's disappeared.  Forever I cry. 

This is it! The 12th February 2013, the law of  marriage for the homosexuals was adopted by the National Assembly. A victory for the left and a defeat for the right. This project of the President, François Hollande, has resulted on 12^th February in 329 deputies for the law and 229 against. One  of the President's promises has been respected. Here is a summary of a promise that caused a lot of controversy on part of right parties (and especially religious institutions) and the story of a battle for freedom from the left parties. In 2012, François Hollande promised that the homosexuals could marry. It’s the commitment called in French “Engagement 31” in his political program. Elected President, he launched the project. Various parties expressed their dissatisfaction against the law. I can quote the former Prime minister, François Fillon (UMP), who said “in case of alternation, we abrogate”, speaking of the law. Valéry Pécresse said “unmarried homosexuals couples” (Lelab.europ1.fr), which seems impossible and totally stupid.
The 7^th November, Christiane Taubira presents the law to other ministers. After this, the law is presented to the National Assembly. Then followed two weeks of intensive debate where Christiane Taubira defended this law with conviction. It’s simple, she was amazing during two weeks and she bluffed everybody with an amazing argumentation where each person who contested the law, was ridiculed by her remarks. We can quote when she express her dissatisfaction against the UMP deputies, Bernard Perrut, when he asked to the Prime Minister if he “wants to destroy marriage”. Christiane Taubira responded  “you're not going to believe you completely ignore that there are LGBT families in this country, you do not know that there is more love in heterosexual than in homosexual couples, there much love vis-à-vis these children and all children are children of France!” (Liberation). She quotes many writers or poets like Léon Gontrand Damas to defend this law which is a sign of freedom. She said “The act that we perform is as beautiful as a rose which besieged the Eiffel Tower at dawn finally sees flourish petals”.
After two weeks of debates, the law is adopted by the National Assembly, the 12^th February 2013. It’s a historic date. The law will be discussed in Senate, the 2^nd April 2013.

We enter  a new era, the era of freedom and equality for everybody.

But what interests  women is to find out whether there  really is a problem and if it will be settled...

The morning of  February, 5th  was a morning like the otherstill a meteor rain strike  Russia.

The meteor rain caused about a thousand injured.

It's really rare that a meteor hurts someone and makes muke damages. The person who were hurt were not hurt by the meteors fragments but by the glasses explosions wh were blown by the shock wave of the impact between the meteor and the earth.

From the informations given by the media, the meteor measured around 10 meters.

Today I'm going to talk about the World War Z ! The future new blockbuster of the cinema !

The World War Z is a film about a Zombie invasion, "the beginning of the end"  The Hero, Brad Pitt,  travels all over the world and tries to stop the outbreak of a deadly Zombie pandemic with the help of the Army ! 

This film is inspired by the book of Max Brooks "The World War Z" and directed by Marc Forster who has already made "Quantum of Solace" ! Lots of famous actor will turn in it like Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and David Morse for exemple..!

       The 11th January 2013, sign the beginning of the French militaary intervention in Bamako, an operation called Serval. There are 3000 French soldiers engaged on that operation. After the help request from the president of Mali, they brought their support in the aim of repel the terrorist's element. "This operation will last the necessary time" quote François Hollande, the Président of the France. Acccording to a source, seven soldiers were in hostage, we don't know yet if they were freed or if they died. The 13th January, 550 soldiers were already on the spot but sooner other Special Forces units will join them. Althrough the French army remains alone on the field, Us Army and other country has launched military on the sky. After three weeks to fight back, the soldiers succeed their goal: repel the offensives. Already two soldiers have died since the beginning of the operation.
