The 11th January 2013, sign the beginning of the French militaary intervention in Bamako, an operation called Serval. There are 3000 French soldiers engaged on that operation. Acccording to a source, seven soldiers were in hostage, we don't know yet if they were freed or if they died. The 13th January, 550 soldiers were already on the spot but sooner other Special Forces units will join them. Althrough the French army remains alone on the field, Us Army and other country has launched military on the sky. After three weeks to fight back, the soldiers succeed their goal: repel the offensives. Already two soldiers have died since the beginning of the operation.
